Chairman Addresses Clergy-Laity Congress
In his remarks at the plenary session of the 43rd Biennial Clergy Laity Congress of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America on July 7, George Tsandikos, Chairman of Leadership 100, announced that Leadership 100 had reached its long- standing goal of 1,000 members. He thanked His Eminence Geron Archbishop Demetrios of America for his inspiration and the great privilege Leadership 100 has been given to support the National Ministries of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America as part of a greater family of faith.

John Catsimatidis And George Stephanopoulos To Be Commemorated On Greek Postage Stamps
Business leader John Catsimatidis, a member of the Leadership 100 Executive Committee, and ABC Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos, a member of Leadership 100, were among five Greek Americans honored with their likenesses on commemorative Greek postage stamps. The others were actress and producer Rita Wilson, physician and Outer Space educator Peter Diamandis and producer/director Costa-Gavras.

Family Ministry Grant Renewed
Leadership 100 renewed the grant for Family Ministry at The Center for Family Care of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America for $230,000 in 2015. An initiative of His Eminence Geron Archbishop Demetrios, the program has been commissioned with providing resources for family ministry to the Metropolises, parishes, and faithful of the Archdiocese. Leadership 100 has provided financial support to assist the work of the Center, which is under the direction of Fr. Constantine L. Sitaras, since 2005 and the Family Ministry program since 2014.

The Metropolis of Atlanta Family Life Ministry reports dramatic progress in its programs and training due to the grant support of $200,000 for 2014 and 2015 received from Leadership 100.The Family Life Ministry offers clinical and spiritual tools, concepts, resources, and skills via psycho-educational workshops, seminars, and retreats for clergy and lay families, married couples, singles, divorced, those preparing for marriage, and bereaved individuals; as well as via an active online presence on its blog and social media.

Leadership 100 grants of $108,621 over 2015 and 2016 have supported the International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC) national Youth Service Leadership development gatherings—Serv- X-treme! The Serv-X-treme! gatherings are a part of a broader framework developed by IOCC to develop a national Orthodox Community Action Network (Orthodox CAN!) to nurture and activate the Orthodox Christian value of philanthropy by promoting volunteerism across all age groups of Orthodox Christians in this country.

Project Mexico Develops Home Building Program
Project Mexico & St. Innocent Orphanage has developed a sustainable Home Building Program with the support of a Leadership 100 grant of $63,735 in 2015. An Intern Development Coordinator educated and strengthened the 23 Home Building Interns in the scriptural importance of service to the needy in a cross-cultural missionary context, in the personal development and spiritual fortification necessary to lead and inspire Orthodox missionaries during their home building trips, and in mentoring others in an outreach and evangelistic environment.
